Q: Tell us about your role at RMHC-Denver. What does your day-to-day work involve and how does your role help support families and our mission?
A: My job is to ensure our families and staff have the support they need and to foster positive volunteer experiences that support our mission. My day-to-day involves schedule coordination, service facilitation, and training, as well as community presentations, program development and evaluation, and best of all, recognition of our amazing volunteers!
Q: How long have you been part of the RMHC-Denver team? What first brought you here?
A: I’ve been with RMHC-Denver for just over 3 years after relocating to Colorado. My journey with RMHC started in 2014 managing volunteers for the Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: My husband, twin daughters and I love traveling, hiking, crafting, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and drinking as much boba as our stomachs will tolerate.
Q: What’s something you’d like others to know about you?
A: I love reading and writing fantasy fiction and am always happy to receive book recommendations!
