Audrey Evans Society of Hope

Leave a Legacy of Hope for Generations to Come

"I was given a mission to make a difference in the lives of children." Dr. Audrey Evans

At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver, we are deeply thankful for those who choose to leave a lasting legacy, ensuring comfort, care and community for families with children in medical crisis. Named for Dr. Audrey Evans, a pioneer in the field of pediatric oncology and co-founder of Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Audrey Evans Society of Hope is a compassionate community dedicated to supporting families when they need it most.

Dr. Evans believed that a child’s emotional needs were as important as their clinical care. She envisioned a place for families to stay close to the hospital, and be fully supported, while their children were being treated. Her insight led to the opening of the first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, which served as a model for more than 380 Houses that are located across the globe today.

By including Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver in your estate plans, you help ensure that families of children facing serious illness continue to have a place of comfort and care that is close to the medical treatment they need. Your legacy will provide hope and healing for generations to come, and as a member, you’ll be honored for your lasting commitment to families caring for a critically ill or injured child.
