Every day, families with seriously ill or injured children find strength and comfort through Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver. Our two Houses in Denver and Aurora provide a true home away from home—offering warm meals, comfortable rooms and a caring community where families can focus on what matters most: the health of their child. Together, we’re able to serve up to 124 families each night, helping them stay close to the expert medical care their children need.
The Twichel family is raising money for Ronald McDonald Houses in Denver and Aurora in honor of the first birthday of their son Nicholas. During 2025, the Twichels spent several months at Ronald McDonald House in Aurora, CO after being life-flighted to Children’s Hospital in Colorado when Nicholas was diagnosed with a serious Congenital Heart Disease one day before birth. During Nicholas’ hospitalization, Ronald McDonald House provided free housing, free food and a home for Marcus and Margaret as well as for their other two children.
Your generosity gives families like the Twichels housing and food freeing their attention to be solely directed on caring for their child’s needs while getting important medical care.
