A New Home for Sky High Hope Camp
Camp operations have been acquired by The Limb Preservation Foundation
Through the years, RMHC-Denver has always remained steadfast in our commitment to serving families of sick children through our key programming. Until now, that programming has included Sky High Hope Camp, a camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. Today, as we continue to grow in size, we have made a decision to narrow our scope and focus our resources on our core mission of keeping families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need.
As a result, we are announcing that all operations of Sky High Hope Camp have been acquired by The Limb Preservation Foundation. We are confident that this new partnership and organization’s staff will continue to run the camp in the manner to which donors, campers and their families have become accustomed.
Like Ronald McDonald House, The Limb Preservation Foundation is focused on the well-being of sick children. The Foundation works to support the prevention and treatment of limb threatening conditions due to cancer, trauma or infection for patients of all ages, with mission activities that include providing groundbreaking research, educational resources, college scholarships, patient financial assistance and patient hospital visitation programs.
All remaining funding previously raised for Sky High Hope Camp has been transferred to The Limb Preservation Foundation and is restricted to funding the camp. RMHC-Denver remains committed as ever to making a direct, positive impact on children and families throughout our region. We thank you for your interest and understanding.
