Group Volunteer Opportunities

Two great ways to provide a meal for our families

We are making a commitment to our guest families to host dinner seven nights a week. Meals are a vital part of supporting our families during their stay. Every meal that a volunteer provides lifts the burden of planning, purchasing and preparing food and allows parents more time with their seriously ill or injured child. Please help us give families the gift of more time together, by providing a meal or becoming a recurring meal team and committing to provide one dinner each month.

Meals from Scratch

Join us in making a difference through our Meal from Scratch program, designed for groups of up to 10 people. Our Culinary Managers lend their expertise to assist you in preparing a delicious dinner from scratch. They will enhance your volunteer experience and make it easy to cook dinner for large groups. From help selecting the menu to serving the meal, our Culinary Managers ensure your volunteer effort is both impactful and enjoyable. This initiative offers a great opportunity for teams, families and friends to come together and give back. Check out the openings below.

Chef-Led Experiences

Enjoy our Chef-Led Initiative for an enriching culinary experience, ideal for groups of 3-8 people. With a tax-deductible donation of $500, you’ll have the opportunity to feed families without the worries of planning or grocery shopping. Chef Torie or Chef Pete will lead your group through the process of preparing and cooking an elevated dinner for families.

Along the way, you’ll get a personalized cooking lesson, learning new skills and techniques from our talented chefs. This program offers a fantastic chance to bond as a team and make a significant impact, all while honing your culinary skills under the guidance of our experienced chefs.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help far from home. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
